Puys, si tu<lb/> veulx, fortifie le<lb/> de <tl><m>papier collé</m></tl><lb/> par derriere.</ab> Which we have translated as: Polished <tl><m><fr>carton</fr></m></tl> of little thickness & a little moistened is proper. Then if you want, strengthen it with <tl><m><fr>papier collé</fr></m></tl> on the back.</ab> I'm not sure why this "papier collé" is left in French as its own material. Can we not translate this as: "strengthen it with paper glued on the back"?
