Unclear why with TC's "moufle" on 19v and 164v of TC, only the latter was given an "é" in TCN
QUESTION Are these two words related in any way?
TCN 19v (enemas) — "moufle" = "mitten-like": On les souloict donner avecq <tl>manches ou poches de <m>cuir</m></tl>, qui<lb/> pour le mieulx <del>est</del> doibt estre de <m>peau de <al>chat</al></m>, qui est plus<lb/> moufle que nulle aultre. One used to give them with <tl><m>leather</m> sleeves or bags</tl>, which for the best result <del>is</del> must be of <m><al>cat</al> skin</m> which is more mitten-like than any other.
TCN 164v (Molds) — "mouflé" = <fr>mouflé</fr> Mays plustost que<lb/> les presser, mects entre eulx et la <tl>presse</tl> des <tl>pieces<lb/> de <m>feutre mouflé & espés</m></tl> qui n’est encores gueres foulé,<lb/> car il remplist les concavités & garde le <tl>moule</tl> de se fendre. They make hardly any flashing if they are pressed. But before pressing them, put between them and the <tl>press</tl> some <tl>pieces of <m>thick & <fr>mouflé</fr> felt</m></tl>, which is hardly yet crushed, for it fills the concavities & keeps the <tl>mold</tl> from cracking.
