PROBLEM: "bain" (in the context of metals) has been treated inconsistently.
It has been left in French on 99r and 101r 99r: ``` En fin donner fœu de chasse, & co<exp>mm</exp>e la flame sera fort blanche & que la matiere sera en bain liquide co<exp>mm</exp>e <m>eau</m> & gectant des flammes de bleu pasle, gecte.

The glossary says "en bain" (leave in Fr) refers to something distinct, but "en bain" has been translated on 154r.
QUESTION: Can we make a decision to either a) translate all as "bath" and leave the interpretation to the reader, b) keep all in French as "bain," or c) just fix "en bain" on 154r?

I don't think these instances are distinct, except perhaps for 50 v which could refer to some kind of tempering bath normally used for iron but I think it's unlikely.
@ps2270 is "bain"/"bath" a recognised metalworking term for molten metal in a crucible?
I would tend towards translating it as "bath" (a literal translation, unproblematic from a lexical point of view), and let readers make of it what they will.
