#1486: update author-metadata with intro essay writers

opened by njr2128

add new entries for each intro essay writer GD doc: " Annotation-author-metadata " github file: https://github.com/cu-mkp/m-k-manuscript-data/blob/master/metadata/authors.csv

Need to update fields like "degree" and "year at time of class" to something more appropriate - e.g., title, affiliation? @ps2270 - thoughts? Order of info as it renders is: image

What is the problem we are solving here? I don't understand. Why would we need to update the fields?

If it's about the order of the information, then it would be better to have: Name Columbia University Student Fall 2016, PhD 1st year Art History NB: we don't really need the "medieval art", but it's ok to leave it.

Apologies for not being clearer.

We need to add information for the intro essay writers who are currently not in this sheet. As most are not students, we need something else instead of their year/degree as that is not applicable to them. E.g., we would instead want

Jonathan Tavares Associate Curator of Arms, Armor and European Decorative Arts before 1700 The Art Institute Of Chicago ?

Ah, that makes sense. Yes, I think that's all we need: Name Title Institution or Affiliation
